Concrete testing - durability

The NT Build 443 test for chloride diffusion coefficient was performed only on concretes A, F and K on drilled cores from small blocks. Samples were exposed at 28 days maturity and the exposure time was 35 days.

The results are shown below together with the 28 maturity days NT Build 492 chloride migration coefficients. Both parameters show the same trend for the three concretes, i.e. concrete A: Ren Portland has the highest coefficient, concrete K: Slaggecement has the lowest coefficient, and concrete F: 3-pulver as the intermediate.

The ratio between the coefficients of the three concrete types is fairly close to 1:4:8 (K:F:A) for both test methods.
